  What's your ideal scenario for the fall of the WTBTS?

  i've seen a few posts where someone states that they want the org to "go to hell" or "burn in hell".

  the org has always had a "likely" chain of events for the armegeddon, you know, babylon the great being destroyed and by the wild beast and the the wild beast turning on the witnesses, the start of the great tribulation, armegeddon, and then the thousand year reign (or something like that).

  so... what would you like to see happen to the org?

  Who of you here know someone in Bethel who is leaking information?

  do any of you have family that is in bethel?.

  not too long ago one of you posted that bethel asked for 1000 volunteers to be laid off, but only 6 repsonded.

  Should a Christian Fight in a war, or join the military service?

  there are some arguments as to weather a christian would fight in military service, or would remain peaceful to all men, up until death.

  Onacruise and concerned others,

  We have the same rights as aloted to Police (as far as self-defense goes). If you feel that you may suffer bodily harm, death etc. you can take reasonable and immediate actions to stop the attacker including the use of deadly force. Now, each state will have different laws which regulate this action. It is wise to check the specific law first in your state of residence.

  As far as Police, Law Enforcement are concerned, all you have to do is THREATEN them and they are JUSTIFIED IN USING DEADLY FORCE. All the Police have to do is "feel" threatened. And bang, your dead! In the aftermath, there will be a rather quick investigation by the DA and after a week or two,- all is back to normal for the Police, etc. But you are still dead! Justified? Not in all cases. Who will bring the dead back to life and restore everything back the way it was? NOT MANKIND!!

  Would I let myself or wife, children or other within my reach be killed or harmed if I could prevent it? NO! Hell NO! I would not stop and think about the situation as the situation "its self" dictate the actions and level of response to any hostile force.

  Now, can you kill someone for stealing from you? Pushing you, threatening you, being mean to you, etc.? OF COURSE NOT! Common sense plays a major role in all decisions. Also, is the use of deadly force justified?---the Courts have made surprising decisions and stupid Laws that force people to do "the right thing"..

  People should NOT be proud to kill other people. Sometimes it is-- unfortunately, necessary to kill.

  Simply put, some people have to die, period. God knows this. The trouble is, who will decide who dies and who lives? You? Me? God? Does the "situation" warrent the use of deadly force? Did I put myself in this situation? Did I have a choice BEFORE I find myself required to use deadly force? Did I know ahead of time that I might have to kill someone?

  Until you have personally--first hand-- experienced the horrific things associated with war, death and destruction, people as individuals will not fully understand the value of human life and the pursuit of "peace among all mankind".

  The glorification of war and the spectacular (brave-?) ways people can die is truely a "bad thing"--not something to look forward to and enjoy.

  Avoid these things if it is possible to do so!

  Do You Have Examples of WTS Consciously Lying?

  do you have examples?.

  i know about a scandal that broke out during the '80's involving a huge number of bad decisions made by elders and.

  First of all, been there and done that!

  A choice can mean life or death. What wars fought by mankind were/are sanctioned by God? Anything current? Does anyone really know?

  Sometimes, decisions must be made and actions taken to preserve a way of life and to preserve the lives of many.

  If "we" have enough time and ALL of the information, perhaps the right choice can be made. If we must defend ourselves' through no fault or involvement of our own, than we are doing what is natural and correct. To kill for someone else, well, that is asking a bit much. What are your options? What is the RIGHT thing to do?

  To kill in self defense is one matter. To kill another human being for any other reason, is asking for judgement by yourself, Mankind and by GOD.

  But, of course, if GOD is instructing you to do the fighting, how can a person argue with God? How many wars and conflicts going on today are directed by God?

  Does it really matter anymore?....................................

  What happens when the Governing Body dies off?

  most of the gb members are in their 80s and 90s.

  with the passing of milton henschel (82), one wonders if they'll all live to be nearly 100, like freddy franz.. so let's take a theoretical look into the future, 11 years from now.. the year is 2014. the last gb member dies.

  the faithful and discreet slave class are no longer in existence.

  Last night I asked about getting reinstated...

  after the meeting last night italked to some of the elders in the car park, and asked what more i neede to do to get reinstated.

  they commended me on the things i've been doing (?

  ), and said the main point for reinstating would be how much contact i've been having with my fiance, who's still a wittness.

  The Society's response to my letter regarding my dad's suicide

  well, i finally got a response to my letter, and it only took them almost three months!

  models of efficiency, they are.

  actually, big tex and i think they had to run this through the legal department.

  The Society is not expressing love or even any serious, heartfelt concern. It is a standard letter. Damn, sometimes I just want to ..................., best left un said!!

  I am ashamed that with all of the money and power associated with the WTB&TS that the local elders (or the GB) could not even accept responsibility for their failure to provide the DAILY involvement which could save lives and build true friendships.

  The story is the same, Most JWs are too self centered and self rightous to give a flip over other people outside of their "personal click". The only true person that really did care, died for all of us. Too bad the R&F JWs haven't learned anything from that example.

  Why the WTS is selling their assets

  the recent post by randy watters is very good regarding the watchtower selling assets.

  some posters suggested that maybe they were doing this because the clean-up of asbestos is too expensive, making a sale more rational.. .

  in the usa, any building containing asbestos insulation must be dealt with by the seller of a property.

  The true colors of the WTB&TS ARE SHOWING. Many troubles are coming home to roost. Praise the Lord and pass the lawyers!!!!
